Reporting a calculation error
Include these four things and a fix usually takes minutes rather than days:
- The page address of the calculator.
- The exact values you entered, field by field.
- The result the page displayed.
- The result you expected, and the source or method you expected it from.
That last point matters more than it sounds. Many reported "errors" turn out to be two defensible conventions — a 360-day financial year versus 365, or a sample versus population standard deviation. Knowing which convention you expected tells us whether to fix the formula or make the assumption clearer on the page.
Suggesting a calculator
We add tools that meet three conditions: there is a genuine recurring question behind it, it can be computed entirely in the browser from inputs a person can supply, and it does not require live external data. If your idea fits, tell us the formula or the standard it follows and we will look at it.
What we cannot help with
We are not able to give financial, medical, tax, legal or engineering advice, review your specific situation, or confirm whether a number is right for your circumstances. The calculators are general-purpose tools; the judgement about whether they apply to you has to be yours or a qualified professional's.

How quickly do you fix reported errors?
A confirmed formula error is treated as urgent and usually corrected in the next build. Clarifications to wording or assumptions are batched.
Will you build a custom calculator for my business?
CalcVerse is a free public library rather than a consultancy, so we do not take commissioned work. Public suggestions that would help many people are always welcome.
Can I republish or embed a CalcVerse calculator?
Please do not copy the pages wholesale. Linking to a calculator is welcome and needs no permission. For anything beyond a link, ask first.
Do you offer an API?
No. The site has no backend at all — every calculation runs in the visitor's browser — so there is nothing to expose as an API.
